It’s not every day you get to star in a movie with Sandra Bullock, Viola Davis, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Richard Thomas! Emma Nelson is starting to make a name for herself in Hollywood. The Unforgivable has been streaming on Netflix since mid-December after a limited theatre premiere.

The story is about an innocent woman who was convicted of murder years ago to protect her younger sister Katie from prosecution. Because Ruth was her only kin, Katie was put into foster care and ultimately adopted into the Malcolm family. The movie follows Ruth’s journey to reacclimate after she is released from prison. Sandra Bullock plays Ruth Slater, the convicted felon. Viola Davis stars as Liz Ingram with D’Onofrio as her lawyer husband, John. Emma Nelson portrays Katie’s adopted sister, Emily Malcolm; not a big role, but a good segue into a something more substantial.
